- Count Pelicula:
- Count Pelicula is the host of the popular TV show Count Pelicula’s Theatre of Horror. He got the job because he looks like a vampire although he is not one. His father was a famous Ice Skater and was never around, so he was raised by his mother who is actually a vampire. When he was a child he would go around biting girls on the neck but nothing would happen. So he decided to become an actor so that he could at least pretend to be one. After a failed audition at Julliard he met his best friend Bifidus with whom he started his career on the famed internet show “Dating for Weirdos”.
- Bifidus:
- Bifidus is Count Pelicula’s co-host, therapist, roommate and personal friend. He is a hunchback who lost his hand in a brutal accident and has now replaced it with a wooden spoon. His real name is actually Biflardo but was nicknamed Bifidus by English schoolchildren because Biflardo was to hard to make fun of. Bifidus is also a skilled actor who trained at Juilliard and is currently the host and permanent contestant of his own dating show “Dating for Weirdos”. He has yet to find a match for himself and is desperate for his search for love.
- Chlamydia:
- Chlamydia is a cross dresser who has been working as Count Pelicula’s secretary for some time now. Although the only person to know that he is not a woman is Dracula. Chlamydia’s real name is Dr. Wolfman Jacobs. He is a brilliant scientist with an I.Q. of 125. He went into hiding after his nuclear experiments caused the infamous nuclear accident of 1998. Dracula found out his secret and is using it against him in order to try and steal the Theatre of Horror from Pelicula.
The Lobster:- Another crustacean affected by the nuclear accident of 1998 is The Lobster. She now runs a shelter for homeless tropical fish and is romantically involved with The Spider.
Da Spida:
Da Spida was a normal spider that was part of the Infamous nuclear accident of 1998. This accident not only caused many animals in the town of Landryland to grow to life size. It also gave them advanced intelligence allowing them to walk, talk and think as any human would. Da Spida was one of these lucky animals. He has gained a close relationship with Count Pelicula and Bifidus, although all he does is complain. He is romantically involved with The Lobster that was in the same nuclear accident.
Disco Dan:
His real name is Ernest Escobar. He was named the Disco Dance Champion in the years 1972-1975 by Don Cornelius who gave him the nickname of Disco Dan. In 1975 disco dance was on the verge of being incredibly popular and the rise of “Disco Dan” seemed obvious. However, not everyone was a fan of Disco Dan. His smooth moves, colorful clothes, and flavor for life made him a forerunner for becoming the poster boy for disco music. “He was the human metaphor for what we were trying to do.” said Gloria Gaynor. Many people decided that enough was enough and Disco Dan would have to be silenced. Frank Zappa decided to cryogenically freeze Disco Dan and in turn stop the ever-growing popularity of disco. So the famous scientist Sheik Yerbouti froze Disco Dan, and Zappa wrote the song “Dancin’ Fool” about Disco Dan. With Disco Dan gone the disco community were lost looking for heroes. However the power of disco lived on…for a few years before it was considered ridiculous. Years later the Count found the frozen Disco dance champion despite the efforts of Yerbouti and Zappa to hide him forever. And now that Disco Dan is back he is ready to bring back to life the hidden and forgotten art of disco.
Hamster Boy:
Hamster Boy is an enigma to many. There have been countless rumours and myths of his past and his own continuity so jumbled by the tales told of him nobody is quite sure the truth. The most common story of Hamster Boy is that he is not of this dimension. He is from another dimensions Earth in which everyone is a human animal hybrid. There was once a solar eclipse and in the darkness somehow Hamster boy and his nomarl Human boy counterpart switched place.
Another myth is that he was a brilliant reporter who stumbled upon a underground hamster fighting ring. He was going to expose the world to this story of horrible people who would bet on fighting hamsters however he was caught by the leaders of ring. They then put a hamster suit upon him, fused the zipper so that he would never take it off and brainwashed him into thinking he is an actual hamster.
Of course most the probable and boring story of this legend is that his Father was a Human and his mother a hamster, but who wants to believe that.
